Hardwood Installation

Hardwood installation options to choose from

Our goal is to match your new floor to your lifestyle, your budget and the light in your rooms, so it fits your home perfectly. Raw hardwood is laid, sanded, stained and sealed right in your home, instead of arriving pre-finished from a factory.

Every plank is racked for grain and color, then hand-nailed tight, row by row. That is what makes a floor read as one piece, and because it is finished on site, the color is matched to your own light.

A great fit when you want

  • Hardwood in place of carpet, tile, or a worn-out floor
  • New hardwood for an addition or renovation
  • Herringbone to wide-plank, in the species you choose
  • A stain and sheen matched to the light in your rooms
  • A floor built to last for decades

What we do

What you get with a Russotto install

Premium quality

Every board is hand-picked for grain, tone and backbone. Only timber worth standing on for a lifetime makes the cut.

Subfloor done right

We level, fasten and moisture-check the base, the work that decides whether a floor stays flat and silent for decades.

Expert installation

Laid tight, dead-level and seamless from room to room, with a flawless final coat.

Wide range of styles

Species, stains, sheens and patterns without end, from herringbone to wide-plank, matched to the light in your space.

Dust-control sanding

Vacuum-fed sanders pull the dust at the drum, so your home stays cleaner while the new floor is sanded flat.

Durable and long-lasting

Sealed to shrug off years of footsteps, sunlight and spills, and still look like the morning it was laid.

The process

Six steps, start to finish.

Every job carries the same promise: honest work, the right tools, and the patience to get it right.

  1. 01

    Schedule your free estimate

Call 570-534-2662 or book online. We measure, read your subfloor and your light, talk species and finish, and hand you a price on the spot. No cost, no obligation.

  2. 02

    Subfloor prep

We level, fasten and moisture-check the base. It is the unglamorous work that decides whether a floor stays flat and silent for decades.

  3. 03

    Layout and lay

Every plank is racked for grain and color, then hand-nailed tight, row by row, so the floor reads as one piece.

  4. 04

    Dust-control sanding

Vacuum-fed sanders pull the dust at the drum, so your home stays clean and the surface comes up dead-flat and ready for color.

  5. 05

    Stain to your light

We test stain samples right on your floor, so you see the true color in your own light before choosing.

  6. 06

    Finish and hand-off

Multiple coats of hard-wearing sealer, buffed between each. Then we clean up and hand back a floor built to shrug off daily life.

★★★★★

"Highly recommend this rock star! As the area's number one local Realtor, I recommended Jovan to so many clients after seeing his work. He completely transformed the home within a week and made the floors look brand new. I couldn't believe the before and after."

Good questions

Questions about hardwood installation

Do you really do free estimates?

Yes, every estimate is free and in your home, with no obligation. We measure, look at your subfloor and light, talk species and finish, and give you a clear, itemized price. No charge, and no pressure to sign on the spot.

How long does a floor take?

Most rooms are sanded, stained, and sealed within a few days. A whole-home restoration or new install runs longer. We'll give you a realistic schedule with your estimate, and we hold to it.

What finishes and colors can I choose?

Anything from a clear, natural matte to a rich, dark stain, and every sheen in between. Because we finish on site, we sample stains on your actual floor, in your actual light, before a drop of color goes down.

When can we walk on it?

You can usually walk on socked feet within a day of the final coat. We recommend waiting a bit longer before moving furniture back and laying rugs, so the finish fully cures and hardens. We'll give you exact timing for the finish we use.
